While this is not to be considered an official RKNC endorsement, the listing of this book here is offered as a helpful guide to Newfoundland owners, especially those just getting interested in the breed and/or getting interested in pursuing draft or water work with their Newfs. Or just interested in learning more about grooming, training, or dozens of other areas of interest to Newf owners. Written by Judi Adler, a long-time breeder of Newfoundlands and a well-respected figure in the Newf world whose Sweetbay Kennel has been producing title-winning dogs for decades.
While the best way to learn how to groom a Newf is hands-on lessons from an experienced Newf groomer, there are some online resources that can serve as helpful reminders or even as inspiration and guide if you want to take the plunge and try your hand (and your shears) at grooming your Newf.

Newfoundland Grooming with Penny Shubert
The first of a series of 6 YouTube videos on grooming a Newf. While these videos were made primarily to advertise a line of grooming products, there's a lot of valuable grooming information, from bathing to final trimming, and it comes from Penny Shubert, a well-known and highly regarded Newf groomer.
